Orangember Juice

All week I have been developing creative ways to use cucumbers. My last idea resulted in a light and refreshing drink, one that will have you refilling your glass. My husband was doubtful (okay, more than doubtful) about the fruits and vegetable combination I wanted to use. But after he tasted the juice, he was pleasantly surprised  and ended up drinking a big glassful!

There are only 3 fruits/veggies needed: oranges, carrots and cucumbers. I remove the skin from the oranges and the cukes, and the ends from the carrots. Everything goes into the juicer, and minutes later you have a wonderful, fruit juice.orange, carrot, cucumber juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • 2 medium sized carrots, ends chopped off
  • 1 small cucumber, skin remove
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • water

Directions:

  1. Put the orange, cucumber, and carrots in in the juicer according to the machine’s instructions.
  2. Put 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pitcher. Add juice. Add an equal amount of water.
